Or Group has a rich and interesting history, stretching back to the very origins of Scouting in Ayrshire itself. Our modern Group is actually the result of a amalgamation between the 1st Ayrshire and the 6th Ayrshire, two separate Groups. The Groups merged on the 1st March 1991 with a registration number carried over form the 1st being 3760.
The 1st Ayrshire can be traced back to 1908 with the 6th Ayrshire to 1909. A lot of scouting has happed since then. More updates to follow...
